Analysis of my favourite film's title sequence

22 Jump Street
A film I particularly enjoy is '22 Jump Street'. It starts off with a bang, to guarantee that the movie will be entertaining enough to stick around, engaging the audience. The title sequence is one of a kind as it sets up the idea of the film, and the credits at the beginning and end sets up the plot. The type adds on to the overall tone of an action film, with bold blaring letters, and the title sequence is a quick slideshow of action shots with diegetic upbeat music, setting up an expectation. What is also good is that the audience understands a good proportion of what they see in the beginning in the film, so the narrative would make sense. It's very effective as it foreshadows what is to be expected.
