Editing of Rough Cut, 17/01/17

During the editing of our rough cut two we have been primarily focusing on arranging the lightning of our title sequence as there seems to be some imbalance's between shots due to filming in different times of day, we were determined to sort this issue out through our colour grading tutorial which helped us in achieving perfect lighting between shots. Some of the problems we encountered during the ending shots were dim lighting, so we decided as a group to hight'n the lighting and saturation.

When my group began editing on our sound we knew it was key to focusing on getting everything right from the opening title credits to the final scene. We aimed to achieve this through adding a score to make our title sequence recognizable and unique. I the sound coordinator found a piece of music for us to use to add in throughout in order to keep the tensions and suspense high as our genre has to do with thriller. I chose the score from the movie 'Dawn of The Dead' as it perfectly suited the flow of our intro.
Furthermore I decided we should add in a few screeching noises when the title comes up and the dead bodies are shown to add to the suspense.

As we progressed through the editing process of our rough cut we realized that the fonts of our title sequence when introducing the cast didn't match and were all different sizes so we used a website that specializes in unique fonts called, DaFont.com where chose a specific font that suited the theme and tone of our title sequence.
